Work.Life Camden

Work.Life have lots of excellent coworking spaces around the capital, but the one we really love is Work.Life Camden. Just a couple of minutes from the Camden tube, this hot desking spot has, unsurprisingly, absorbed the creative vibe of the surrounding area.

Work.Life operates on a membership basis which includes a range of services, from printing to free meeting room access. If you’re in one of many PA jobs in London where the boss has asked you to look into coworking spaces, then Work.Life Camden should be on your list.

The Dock, Shoreditch

You can’t go wrong with The Dock, a seriously impressive coworking space, which will see set up in the vaults of a stunning grade I listed building. This is a 24/7 coworking space and you can even have your own fixed desk or private office (seating 12–50), although hot desks are still available.

The Dock is more than just a workplace. The Events Programme ensures networking is happening all the time, whether you’re in a fitness class, training session, or enjoying drinks in happy hour.

WeWork 199 Bishopsgate

Simply referred to as WeWork Spitalfields, you’ll find five whole floors of space dedicated to coworking here. There’s a real sense of community and lots of common areas promote this (as does the free beer!).

Expect to see the odd pooch putting in a day’s work here; it’s a dog-friendly area, and you’ll find an eclectic mix of professions and backgrounds amongst the owners, too.

Huckletree, Shoreditch

There’s a truly creative and inspiring energy at Huckletree in Shoreditch, which is located in the legendary Alphabeta Building. Expect to be surrounded by lots of start-ups, mostly in the tech arena, along with plenty of collabs. Its innovative environment rubs off on you.

The membership gives you access to all sorts of networking events, including some really worthwhile workshops. Huckletree is fundamentally exciting, and a place to watch for what’s coming next.

The Office Group, Borough High Street

Situated close to London Bridge with booths, a gym, and various breakout spaces, The Office Group on Borough High Street is perfect for anyone looking for a coworking space. However, it really ticks the boxes when it comes to upholding its values of sustainability. The office is lovely, but the magic happens on the roof garden with rainwater harvesting and solar energy. Plus, you can pop out to Borough Market for lunch and be back at your desk in mere moments.

Coworking is growing in popularity and as demand soars, we’re getting more and more coworking options in London. Whether you’re a PA scouting places for your entire business to work from, or an independent freelancer, there’s no doubt that you’ll find the perfect spot you’re looking for. There’s a lot of variation, so make sure that they offer the right facilities and the kind of package you need!
