Roller derbies are growing in popularity, with a number of recreational leagues out there, and you can even try a spot of Mexican wrestling (masks and all!).

London is renowned for its large-scale events, from the London Marathon and Trooping the Colour to the Chelsea Flower Show and the annual Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race. No one does big events quite like London, so why not get involved? Grab a ticket for The Proms, head for the Notting Hill Carnival, join in the World Naked Bike Ride or try your luck in the queues at Wimbledon.
