Temporary Finance Assistant to start immediately - £10phr
Duration: 3 months
One of our clients, a well-established charity based in North London, is looking to recruit a Temporary Finance Assistant to join the team. You will work closely and liaise on a day-to-day basis with the Head of Finance and report to and receive formal supervision and appraisal from the Finance Officer.
The duties include:
- Maintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of the role.
- Work together as a team and be supportive to other team members both within the finance team and other Walsingham Support Departments.
- Process purchase ledger transactions.
- Post cash receipts relating to the designated region in the Receipts Cash Book system.
- Code and upload sales receipts.
- Process online credit and debit card receipts.
- Allocate sales receipts to invoices and credit notes raised
- Open post for the Finance Department, distributing to relevant members of team.
- Respond to email and telephone queries within a timely manner.
- Send copy information to Services as requested.
- Prepare daily banking and post to accounting system.
- Carry out general office duties within the team.
