Reception Administrator
£22,000 - £24,000

A fantastic opportunity for a fixed term front of house receptionist with office managerial duties, to work at an exciting trendy company. As well as being the first point of contact for the business, you will be responsible for the general day-to-day management and upkeep of the office. Previous receptionist and office coordination experience is essential. You will also have excellent Microsoft Office skills, including the use of Excel and PowerPoint, and will be able to demonstrate a proactive attitude.

Main responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and acting as the first point of contact for all visitors
  • Answer, screen, and forward calls
  • Managing meeting room bookings
  • Set up and clear meeting rooms
  • Distribute post and manage incoming and outgoing couriers
  • Travel planning and booking
  • Order stationery and supplies
  • Liaise with suppliers and security
  • Ad hoc admin duties
  • Organising maintenance contractors
  • Arrange lift maintenance and certification
  • Fire marshal and first aider
  • Ensure that health and safety policies are up to date
  • Part of an internal events team

Skills required:

  • Previous experience in a receptionist and/or office management role
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills, both internally and externally
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload independently
  • Execute duties with a proactive, positive approach
  • Ability to problem solve, showing flexibility and ability to adapt to new situations
