The purpose of the job is to provide an efficient scheduling service to the company. This will primarily involve working to ensure that all personnel are deployed effectively to meet current business demand whilst ensuring the best utilisation of skills and career development opportunities, thereby maximising the productivity of the business.
The role often involves balancing multiple priorities and dealing with demanding senior individuals. In addition, the HR Scheduler will be involved in scheduling training and induction of new joiner groups, with a particular focus on meeting with individuals to establish preferences for roles, review their CVs, and assist them with finding their first/next role.
