Our client, a boutique Accountancy company with a creative client base, have an exciting opening for a competent administrator to join their HR team of three based in the West End. The ideal candidate will be a graduate with at least 6 - 12 months'  HR administration experience. We are looking for candidates who have a genuine interest in starting a career in HR, and who are super organised and engaging.

The function of this role is to provide top-level HR administration and the ideal candidate will be confident and articulate, have excellent communication skills, and be able to deal extremely well under pressure. Attention to detail is absolutely imperative for this role, as is confidentiality, discretion, character, and the ability to effectively manage an extremely busy and varied workload, with the personality and enthusiasm for HR.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative assistance and diary management to HR Advisor/Senior HR Manager
  • Maintenance of HR system
  • Manage holidays and absence
  • Running reports and helping collate monthly management information
  • Annual update of employees' information
  • Produce all new starter documentation including contracts of employment, handbooks, and carrying out compliance checks upon joining
  • Managing on-boarding process including right to work and compliance checks
  • Training administration
  • Administering of employee benefits alongside HR & Payroll Advisor
  • Assistance with the salary review and bonus process/paperwork
  • Assisting in the recruitment and selection process
  • Ad hoc HR projects

Candidate Requirements:

  • 6 - 12 months' experience in a robust administration role - HR preferred
  • Graduate
  • All-rounder with a strong desire to increase and expand HR knowledge and experience
  • Excellent organisational skills, and the ability to multitask and organise others
  • Diplomatic and confidential dealing with data and issues of a sensitive and private nature
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and be flexible to the needs of others
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach and strong attention to detail
