We are currently recruiting for two Researchers for our clients within the Executive Search sector (Media and Higher Education).
We are looking for both graduates and people with prior business experience to join the research teams of boutique executive search firms. The ideal candidate needs to be presentable, articulate, proactive, and curious. You will be capable of holding your own with the best and brightest and must be comfortable communicating on the telephone as well as face to face.
In addition, you will have empathy for others, commercial awareness, a desire to work in a firmly team-based environment, and the ability to convey ideas, as well as facts, succinctly and persuasively.
The Researcher role is given a great deal of responsibility and autonomy: you must be able to meet these challenges with a keen attention to detail, an ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines, and a high level of self-motivation.
The research team is responsible for identifying and developing candidates, the vast majority of which are at board level. This role also acts in support of business development activities through maintaining a broad, sector-oriented knowledge base.
Research is primarily conducted through direct contact with potential candidates and sources on the telephone, and supported through tools such as the database, the internet, and various industry publications.
The researchers work across sectors and with all members of the consulting team. Your role will involve searching for a HR Director for a FTSE 100 company one month, and the Director of a national museum the next. This is a genuinely interesting role with superb career potential for ambitious and intelligent graduates with strong communication skills.
