Job Description

Responsibilities:

Corporate Hospitality

  • Assist catering supervisor in delivering an excellent service to clients for formal lunches, reception events, and client seminars. This will include helping with all aspects from setting up the meeting rooms to assisting with serving (where appropriate) and assisting in the kitchens with food preparation.
  • Ensure that lunch meeting rooms are set up correctly with the requested food and drink.
  • Assist with keeping kitchen clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure that coffee and tea is readily available at all times.
  • Ensure regular cleaning and maintenance of catering equipment (fridges, kettles, crockery, etc.) in liaison with the catering supervisor.
  • Maintain stocks of crockery/cutlery/glassware in the catering kitchen.
  • In liaison with Catering Supervisor, assist with ensuring that stocks of non-perishable food and drinks (including alcohol) are regularly replenished.
  • In absence of Catering Supervisor, liaise with Reception/Office Services colleagues to ensure order and delivery of daily partner lunches is in hand, visiting local food/retail outlets for specific requirements on an ad hoc basis.
  • To pick up sandwiches/drinks from local food/retail outlets where required.
  • In absence of Catering Supervisor, liaise with Reception/Office Services colleagues to ensure order and delivery of daily partner lunches is in hand, visiting local food/retail outlets for specific requirements on an ad hoc basis.

Meeting Hospitality

  • Assist the catering supervisor / relevant personal assistant or other meeting room organiser to ensure that refreshments are provided/replenished as required.
  • Set up meeting rooms prior to meeting start times.
  • Empty meeting rooms in a timely way once meetings have ended.
  • Load crockery and glassware into dishwasher / wash up as appropriate.

Maintaining kitchen

Facilities team

  • Assist the Office Services team with other catering based activities (room set up/set down, replenishing staff kitchen supplies, etc.)
  • Assist in any other way as required by Catering Supervisor/Office Services Manager/Assistant Manager.
  • Stocking and cleaning coffee machines and kitchens on all floors.
