Executive Assistant supporting the Executive Team
£35,000 - £40,000 + discretionary bonus and benefits

Our client, a specialist insurer operating in the fastest-growing segment of the insurance industry, is looking for a professional, experienced, and enthusiastic Executive Assistant to support the Group Executive Team based in London. In addition, you will be involved in various projects, which includes analytical support.

You will be strongly self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure. Excellent organisational and communication skills are required and you must be able to liaise effectively with a range of external contacts as well as colleagues across the group. Summary of responsibilities:

  • Analysis and reporting
  • Carry out research on companies and markets
  • Perform financial and valuation analysis of competitor and potential client companies
  • Prepare reports and presentations to explain your conclusions
  • Provide administrative support for the Executive Team
  • Attend meetings with Executive Team members and prepare follow up reports
  • Ensure agreed actions are allocated, tracked, and monitored
  • Coordinate diaries, meetings, and travel plans
  • Manage expense claims
  • Liaise with colleagues across the group to monitor progress against plans and provide update reports

Person Specification:

  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • High level of numeracy
  • Degree is a distinct advantage
  • Excellent software skills, including Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Flexible and enthusiastic about being involved in a wide range of activities
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work alone and unsupervised
  • Experience of the financial services sector a distinct advantage
  • Excellent knowledge of English required, German and/or Italian an advantage
