Temporary Executive Assistant to the Director of Communications

London Office | Hybrid Working | 3 days in office/2 remote working

37.5 hours per week

30 days holiday per annum plus bank holidays

 

Our client, a leading charity dedicated to addressing the housing crisis in Britain, is seeking a proactive Temporary Executive Assistant to provide vital support to their Director of Communications, Policy & Campaigns for a 4-month period. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring seamless office operations and facilitating effective communication and coordination within the team. This role has an immediate start.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Offer high-level executive support to our client's Director and Assistant Directors, including managing their email correspondence, diaries, and travel arrangements
  • Coordinate and prepare for meetings, including agenda creation, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items
  • Handle various administrative tasks, such as managing office supplies, processing expenses, and organising events, including the annual departmental conference
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, demonstrating professionalism and discretion in all interactions

 

About You:

 

  • Previous experience in an Executive Assistant or similar role, ideally within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the confidence to interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software, such as SharePoint
  • A proactive and adaptable mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems independently.
