Corporate Communications Associate Manager (FTC - Maternity Cover)
Location: Hybrid (London preferred, flexibility available - details TBC)
Contract Length: 7 months (Starting early November 2025)
Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Rate: £300-£338 per day (PAYE or umbrella - subject to confirmation)
Notice Period: 8 days' notice (reciprocal)

We're working with a leading global professional services organisation to find a Corporate Communications Associate Manager to cover a maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing UK & Ireland media team responsible for driving consistent, impactful PR and media engagement across our client's key industry sectors, with a particular focus on Financial Services, Retail, and Consumer Goods.

You'll work alongside senior stakeholders, subject matter experts and communications professionals to shape messaging, pitch thought leadership, manage external press relationships, and contribute directly to high-profile campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver strategic media campaigns aligned to our client's business priorities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with top-tier and trade media
  • Draft high-quality press materials: news releases, Q&As, media pitches, talking points
  • Manage a Media Relations Specialist and help them thrive
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to adapt global campaigns for UK media
  • Provide senior stakeholders with strategic counsel on media positioning
  • Support major industry events and campaigns
  • Monitor and report on media coverage and campaign effectiveness

About You:

  • 6-8+ years in PR/corporate comms (agency or in-house), ideally in professional services, technology, or marketing sectors
  • Strong UK media relations experience, especially in financial services
  • Excellent writing and editing skills - able to simplify complex content for a range of audiences
  • Comfortable advising senior stakeholders and working in a matrixed organisation
  • Experience using media measurement tools and reporting on campaign success
  • Knowledge of social media as part of integrated communications strategies
  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Familiarity with large-scale consultancies or similar global organisations
  • Background supporting thought leadership or brand positioning campaigns
